G1 in hand, does any one need testing done?

Postby g1usernow » Tue Oct 07, 2008 5:33 am

I'm fortunate enough to have a G1 in hand and would be happy to test Android programs on a live device. PM me if interested.

If yes, I could send you a watermarked ( :P ) version of AndNav ( http://www.andnav.org ).

Feel free to PM me with a link to your apk file. I'll test the install and functionality of the program and get back to you with the results. I'd love to test andnav, gravity ringer and any other application.

Edit: if I have time, I'll try to make a video of your app running on a real device.

I tried to download that file but it said its not supported by this device. Does the url link to a zip file or apk? PM a direct link to the apk so I may test. If that links to an apk file can you confirm your server's MIME settings for apk files.

Thanks!

Hm I moved it to a server with "raw" access of the file, instead over that php-redirection.

Hope this works.

[Edit]
Could you install other apps over the web / through the browser :?:

In case you have it for a longer time, do yourself a favor and protect against boredom by installing this: https://launchpad.net/androidsfortune/+download . Don't forget to also upload a cookie file to the phone. You'd also be doing myself a favor, though I don't need any movies or anything.
