Finnaly, I triomph from ANR !

My main problem was when user touch the screen after call for a new game, Android show a window with message "force close or wait" (ANR). The source of my problem ? My game thread was too big in treatement (load many sprites...).

To solve it, I created a child thread wich load ressource in parrallel of the game thread. Now load a game is perfect ^^

So I released already an Update :

Changelog V1.1 : 5/07/2009
- Bugs corrections
- Added a score manager (with "multi frag" bonus)
- Added new bonus : fire
- Little optimisations
- Difficulty rebalanced

For the next release, I will redraw some sprites and correct again other little bugs.

Don't forget you can download the full game on my website ;)

Sorry for my bad english

This sounds really great, keep up the good work. Shame more people haven't commented. :(

In any case I'll be sure to try this out when I get my MyTouch.

Thank you for the encouragement :)

I don't know why welcome is so cold. Maybe it's not a popular kind of game ^^.

Pfft don't worry about it man. Some people don't know a good thing when it shows up.

What really matters is how users of the Android Market react to it.

Compiled from source, and I have to say this is a really solid and addictive game. Even with the emulator lagging a bit, I was surprised at how smooth everything is.

Some things I noticed:
- If you try to load a file without having played before, it throws a NullPointerException.
- You may want to rely on the standard Android GUI widgets for the shop screens.

Other than those I was very impressed. :D Will be buying later on.

Thanks again for feedback ^^

Yes I noticed this bug. It will be correct in future release.

Yes it's my fault. I will correct this with better inteface soon (with items descriptions and other improvement).

On real mobile the game is not totaly smooth but framerate is very correct. I think arraylist is not an android friend and maybe I should use advanced algorithme with tree to sort my objects lists. I don't know if it's a good way to increase performances.

Good to hear you're looking to optimize its speed.

I also hope you don't mind me picking through your source code to help me. Your DATA file has actually helped me solve not being able to compare Enums in Java. :)

This, by the way, is one of the major benefits of open source. I cannot count the number of times I've found solutions to problems while reading through other people's code -- mad props to cokoyan for writing code well enough for you to experience serendipity.

I'm going to try his game now. Thanks. :-)
