CalcDROID is end-user application based on (viewer of) polish innovative service www.pooolicz.pl, which is first world-wide on-line system for step-by-step calculations. Poolicz started his activity in October, 2006.

This application was created by Piotr Jurgas, PhD and Grzegorz Galuszka. Its main purpose is to make math calculations easier for many people worldwide. calcDROID can successfully replace commercial and complex calculators by very intuitive operation and presenting results in clear (step-by-step) manner.

Each person in the world is supposed to count something at least several times a day. People do it using their own memory, paper sheet, pen, calculator, mobile phone or software (spreadsheet or engineer applications).

However, the most simple arithmetic (or their multiply combinations) appears to be the most difficult. Net worth of product, percent of X, area measure and volume, usage of mathematical formulas included in mathematical arrays consists to problems of today people.

Average person rarely seeks volume of sector figured by few planes. Requested polls proved that most popular are ratios, which are common used to get result. Regrettably we must repeat the calculations each time we change one of variable!

It is worth to mention about millions of youth people, who explore world of math each day, making hundreds of calculations. Problems concerning math, are mostly caused by not understanding the process of thinking. Unfortunately calculator is able only to get a result, excluding process of getting it. Such a tool would be very helpful for parents too and it would reduce need of reversals or additional courses, because solving the tasks could be practiced with „electronically teacher” available 24 hours a day.
