What is the prospect of my porting Android to the x86 and booting it from a hard drive partition?

I know, I know, it's a cell phone operating system and software stack -- however I look at it and I see things that are awfully familiar in desktop-land:

Linux
Java
I think I saw SDL in there, or was that just the emulator.
OpenGL
I think I even saw a Wifi driver being emulated.
Webkit, that's used on the Mac.

There's the issue of the touch screen.

Someone has does that. In fact I have seen some of youtube videos showing off other large screen devices running Android.

I don't know if it will be released though, and I don't remember who it was other than it was a video.
