Writing a file on SDCARD

Postby vanesa » Fri Apr 30, 2010 8:43 am

My application downloads a file from internet and saves it on the SDCard.

I use FileOutputStream class to write data in the file. I encountered
a problem when other application deletes the file or fills the SDCARD
while the applications writes in the file.

"write" method doesn't throw any exception, flush method does
nothing. It seems that, data are stored in the internal buffer.

Is there a way to lock the a file and to be notified when there is not enough space left?
I use SDK 1.5

Thank you
