Why is this a bad way to launch an app?

Postby Profete162 » Wed Jan 20, 2010 12:50 pm

Hi there.

I tried to program an application laucher with this code:

Code: Select all
PackageManager monPackageManager =getPackageManager();
pckName="com.blabla.blabla"
startActivity(monPackageManager.getLaunchIntentForPackage(pckName))

this work nearly well and i am using this code, but for some apps ( mail for instance ) if i click three times on my button, mail is launched three times and i have to exit mail three times with back key. That's like i have 3 windows opened.

I hope you understand what i mean...

Should i use an other way to launch app?

Thank a lot!
