apologies if this is in the wrong place but, wasnt sure which catagory it came under.

I want to Learn Perl on my Smartphone (crazy I know) and I have installed SL4A which installed perfect and I have confirmed with the Terminal I have, however when I try and install the interpreter there is no options to do so. according to what iv read, when I open Perl for android there should be a menu I can access (I`m assuming by hitting the contect menu on my phone) but nothing happens when I press the button and all I have is a black screen which, has an uninstall button at the top.

I have installed the Perl interpreter manually off the website, but I still can't open it. i`m assuming because I cannot access that conext menu.

can anyone help or shed any light on this.
