The Bundle class

Postby xplosive » Wed Oct 15, 2008 11:17 am

Can someone tell me what the Bundle class is used for? When i look in the documentation, it says:

"A mapping from String values to various Parcelable types."

This won't help a lot. I still don't know what it does. When i look at the onCreate method i see:

Bundle savedInstanceState

Then i ask myself: With which string values is savedInstanceState mapped to? I don't get it.

So my question is, can someone tell me in simple terms what Bundle does? And when it is used?

Thnx in advance :)

Well,

We can use bundle when creating a new Activity....

Activities only communicate via Passing Bundles... so this is the main used for the bundle...
