text file show special characters

when i used text file in utf-8 format....it show special characters...how to avoid that... :cry:

that file in zip file in raw folder....get that in zipInputstream and shoe on emulator...then it show special characters and text both are show..how to avoid it??

Hello rmeph,

what it is supposed to show. Perhaps provide the first Hex-Values of that file.
So we can see whether the chars are just displayed wrong.

that is text file in UTF-8 format ..i m store that file in raw folder and get in inputstream and using WebView show on emulator....not use hexvalues

I was asking for the first hex-bytes of that file!
I want to know whether the special-characters magically appear or not!
