Task manager in Rooted Android

Postby i2gotmail » Mon Jun 14, 2010 2:31 am

Hi, first post here so go easy on me.

i am planning to develop an application which remove some application. For example. the camera function. Just want to block it from being open while user press the camera button.

Has anyone know how to block that application? I do not know how to do that in the normal phone.

i saw some people saying that by rooting the android, you can have a task manager that manage the application. (http://androidsocialmedia.com/developme ... roid-phone) My guess is service about camera is shown there. then what i have to do is turn off or end that service.

Has anyone try to access the task manager from the source code? Is there any emulator for rooted phone? for me to test out my idea ?

help me please thank you
