[solved] Splitting up a thread

Postby Quipeace » Sun Jun 06, 2010 10:24 am

Hello all,

The problem I had wasn't related to my app, I was using an alpha version of Froyo for the Acer Liquid, which wasn't working properly, the problem has now been fixed.

I'd really appreciate your help,

why did you expect that using threads it will be faster?

Becuase of the patterns I saw when I was running Froyo, when I quickly restarted the thread after it finished the speed was amazing (just under three times faster), while when you would just run it once it was 1.33 times slower, compared to Eclair.

Don't forget the Froyo DVM is 3-3.5 times faster than Eclair, which could account for your speed
