Simple Database issue

Hi Experts,

I am creating one application in which i am also creating one database for ex: "abc.db", Can you pls. tell me where this file is getting created? I am not able to find this .db file anywhere in my PC. I am working on windows based PC.

Hi Amit,
U can go to DDMS perspective data/data/ur package name

eg:
to look into contact.db which is located in data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/databases/contacts.db

to view the contacts.db select the file and go for "Pull a file from device " option
it will ask for folder to copy.select androidsdk/tools folder

THEN USE SQLITE TO VIEW THE FILE

Thanks for quick reply.

i didnt get your this sentence :
eg:
to look into contact.db which is located in data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/databases/contacts.db
i.e. how to go to data/data....?

can you explain little bit more, since i am new to this platform so need to understand everything.
