Seperate service and application to use SQL database

Postby myazuid » Tue Apr 21, 2009 5:33 pm

Hello

I'm looking at creating a service that will take the data from the call log and place it into an SQLLite database, by using the intents each time a call is made or received etc.

This data would then be used by an application to show stats etc.

At the moment, the problem with this way is that I wouldn't be able to change the settings of the service from the application itself... and a few others!

Can anyone think of a better way to go about it? I'm a bit stumped, my knowledge is a lil lacking in places!

Many thanks in advance for any help :)
