Save Changes Made to App on Pause or Destroy

Postby killa.fr0gg » Wed Apr 22, 2009 7:56 pm

Hi all,

I have an application that retrieves values from an ArrayList and allows users to add their own objects to the list via alerts. It works fine for all that, but when I quit and restart the application, the words that I added are gone. I assume this is because I didn't override any pause or destroy, but 'net resources aren't really helping me figure out how to do what I need it to do.

So, in brief, the question is: How do I save the changes made to the ArrayList while running so they stay there forever, not just until the application is left?

Thanks much!

Check whether you are starting the emulator with : -wipe-data
just open run configuration, click on "Target" tab and make sure that
1. "wipe user data" option is unticked
2. command line below it does not contain "-wipe-data" command.

if you are erasing all user data before starting the emulator then you are going to lose all the information stored in arrays and other data structures.
