RESOLVED: Intents re-used for Activities

Postby rdomloge » Thu Jun 25, 2009 12:27 am

I have an activity which I need to call several times. Everything goes fine, first time around. The second time I launch an Intent to start the activity, the activity comes up, but it still has a reference to the original intent.

Why is this happening? If the activity is finished (finish() method is called) then why is the Intent that first created it remembered?

The launch mode for the activity is 'standard'.

RESOLVED!

Postby rdomloge » Thu Jun 25, 2009 5:02 pm

Seems there is a bug in the documentation:

http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=863

The requestCode param to PendingIntent.getActivity() cannot be the same number each time.
