READ_CONTACTS required for provider contacts

Does anybody meet that

an error has occurred...
unable to start activity...
java.lang.securityexception ...
android.permissions.READ_CONTACTS required for provider contacts. " when run the app "FriendFinder"
according to plusminus's suggestion, I added the

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using xml Syntax Highlighting
  1. <uses-permission id="android.permission.READ_CONTACTS"/>
  2.  
  3.     <uses-permission id="android.permission.CALL_PHONE"/>
Parsed in 0.001 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4


in the manifest.xml,but still alert the same error..Can some guy help me???

Hello zxgang_andy,

looks like you took the code from a sdk-m3 example. Since m5 the attribute-naming is slightly different/simplified:
Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using xml Syntax Highlighting
  1.     <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_CONTACTS"/>
Parsed in 0.000 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

Hello,plusminus, Yes , i added the items as you said(<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_CONTACTS"/>).but still not work..So I suppose maybe m5-sdk not support your app" frinendfinder"..I don't why..

By the awy,plusminus,did you run your app on m5-sdk???and the result is ok???
