Q:check for NULL

Postby doubleslash » Tue Mar 03, 2009 9:48 am

Sorry to ask the following basic Java question, but after having done some research on the problem, I still could not find the right way to do it. How do I check if a Bitmap object is null? I tried
Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1. //mybmp is of type Bitmap
  2.
  3. if(mybmp != null)
Parsed in 0.013 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

and
Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1. if(!mybmp.equals(null))
Parsed in 0.010 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

but neither worked.
Thanks for looking
