Protect SW from being Copied

Postby malrawi » Mon Apr 27, 2009 8:16 am

Hi all,

From what I read, when you upload your software to android market you get to check a box that will prevent users from copying your software to another device. Again as I read, this option doesn't really work because you can gain root access if you telnet to the device.

What would be a reasonable way to make sure that the software is not copied?
I thought about registering the software upon installation. Anyone was able to come up with a clean way to do it?

thanks
