Problem with Gesture Builder

Postby Pich » Thu Nov 26, 2009 7:37 am

Hi, I have the same problem with Gesture Builder on the emulator and when I build the app myself and install om my G1.

It does not save the gestures correctly on my sdcard. It does not create a folder called "gestures" but instead creates a file called "gestures" with a size on about 2kb. It does not grow when I create more gestures. Is this really correct, because I thought a folder would be created in which each gesture would be stored in different files.

I look in code for CreateGestureActivity.java and here is where the magic of saving happens:

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1. final GestureLibrary store = GestureBuilderActivity.getStore();
  2.
  3. store.addGesture(name.toString(), mGesture);
  4.
  5. store.save();
Parsed in 0.030 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

Anyone had the same problem and know of a solution?

Best regards

Just thought I would comment on this. I was to fast to ask for help, when I read the instructions on google dev blog once more about how gestures work, are created and so on I found that I was in fact correct that a file was created (called gestures) and not a folder. I used this file and it worked perfectly.
