Problem understanding lifecycle of activities,

Postby nioupy » Sun Jan 23, 2011 9:28 am

Hi again,

I am now facing another issue and don't know where to go looking for. Roughly:
My application has a main activity opening child activities. Everything goes fine, I can naviguate between those and get back to the parent/child with no issue.

If I am in a child activity, and press the home button, I obviously get my nice desktop.

A long press on home shows my application still in the stack, clicking it shows my child activity.

Now all of you already guessed my issue : my parent activity has been destroyed (or at least, I cannot get back to it).
I suspect this is a newbie question, but I can't happen to find how to avoid/solve that...

Thanks in advance if anyone has a link or suggestion ;)
