problem running project with JDK 0.9 BETA

Postby nonsonoinmatrix » Sun Aug 24, 2008 3:08 pm

Hi,
I've some problem with the new Android SDK 0.9, i've updated all my projects but when I try to run one of that project an error message has rised:
'the application xxx.xxx.xxx (process xxx.xxx.xxx) has stopped unexpectatly'.

I've read that that with the new SDK all the application have to be signed... but in the Debug mode that is done automatically ( the only thing to do is to set the JAVE_HOME ). then i think is not that the problem...

Anyone found the same problem? Anyone solved it?

thank you all...

HI nonsonoinmatrix,
My projects run fine in debug mode. I haven't tried to sign any of them, so debug auto-signing is definitely Ok.

Sorry, Can't help more...

if you're using eclipse, signing your .apk-file ( or whatever has to be signed) is done automatically.
check your ddms for stacktraces to get the reason of this 'unexpected stopp'

btw it has to be JAVA_HOME, as you might already know

Thanks for your response...
I've solved the problem re-installing Eclipse... now it works well... maybe it was some inconsistency in eclipse...

my global variable is JAVA_HOME... was only a writing error :-)

thanks you all...
