Priority to CALL_BUTTON intent?

Postby jwei512 » Sun Jan 03, 2010 10:53 pm

Hey everyone,

So I've been looking at http://www.anddev.org/viewtopic.php?p=30146 and it seems like people are successful in automatically replacing the selection of a home screen by setting the android:priority to 1, but I've been trying to do this with the CALL_BUTTON action intent and it doesn't seem to be working, namely that I'm always greeted by the selection screen.

I've read up on intent resolution and stuff like that but I couldn't find any examples online and wasn't sure what I'm doing wrong, my code looks like:

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using xml Syntax Highlighting
  1.
  2. <intent-filter android:priority="1000" >
  3.
  4.       <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
  5.
  6.        <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" />
  7.
  8.         <action android:name="android.intent.action.CALL_BUTTON"/>
  9.
  10. </intent-filter>
  11.
  12.
Parsed in 0.001 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

I've tried setting the priority even as high as 10000000 but nothing worked. Any ideas?
