[solved] managing tasks

Postby zarzu » Sat Dec 19, 2009 8:16 pm

i am looking for a way to actually interact with tasks, like bring a task to the front. all i have found until now is lists of running tasks from the activity manager and a way to kill whole packages, but no trace of how to actually switch between tasks.

any help is appreciated.

i found out that there's an example home application and looking at those i figured out that you have to do a move-to-front with intent flags:
Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1. intent.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK
  2.
  3.                 | Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_RESET_TASK_IF_NEEDED);
Parsed in 0.012 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4
