Login Activity, then remove it. How ?

Postby mmdumi » Tue Aug 25, 2009 9:40 am

Hello.
I want to build a simple application, for a webservice. First of all, my main activity is one where the users enters his/hers username and password, clicks login, and if the credentials are fine i start a new activity with his dashboard.
The thing is that, i don't want the user to go back to login activity ever again, and right now if you click on the left arrow from the emulator, the login activity pops out.

I thought that i could override onResume method from my login activity and then, if the user has already logged in i could restart again the dashboard activity. But i realize that this is stupid.

How can i do this, "the right way" ? I know that android platform puts every activity into a stack, but how do i dismiss the login one ?
Thanks.
