load data from another application

Postby progger » Tue Aug 11, 2009 4:09 pm

Hey guys,

Is it possible to load any data from another application.

Example:

I have an activity with an WebView and want to load an image which is stored in another application.

1.Application
WebView: HTML-file
<img src="???">

2.Application
image file is stored in asset like this:
file:///android_asset/test.png

Is there a way to open this png file directly in the first application? How can I access to the android asset of another application or is this not possible?

Kind regards
progger
