I am looking for the intents (intent filters) to open an attachment file with extension (.shtml) from
my received email.

I am not getting anything.

I tried with MIME Types ::: */*, text/html .

But not able to..

Please help.

Hi mala,

I looked through several pages of results from searches and there isn't anything specific about shtml and Android. I think you could try changing the extension on the file before handing it to the browser. I think the text/html type should work but if it doesn't, it probably means that your browser does not support some of its features. Seems to be a pretty grey area.

I tried with text/html and also with */*, in case if type is unknown. Still I am not able to open..
