HTTPS Post

Postby samyboy » Mon Jan 17, 2011 10:06 am

Hello

So I've been able to create code that actually sends a POST request to HTTP. But I can't get it to work with HTTPS.

Does anyone have any idea? Is anyone even able to modify my code, so it also works with HTTPS?

Code: Select all

HttpClient httpclient = new DefaultHttpClient();
HttpPost httppost = new HttpPost(this.POSTUrl);

try {
   List<NameValuePair> nameValuePairs = new ArrayList<NameValuePair>(2);
   nameValuePairs.add(new BasicNameValuePair("ID", MainActivity.MainActivity.UID));

   httppost.setEntity(new UrlEncodedFormEntity(nameValuePairs));

   // Execute HTTP Post Request
   httpclient.execute(httppost);
   // No need to check the response for now...

} catch (ClientProtocolException e) {
   // Some failure...
} catch (IOException e) {
   // Some failure...
}

Kind Regards and Thanks for your efforts!
