How to use source code, not available in SDK?

Postby krupp » Thu Nov 19, 2009 1:42 pm

Hi

First of all, I'm a noob both to android and java. Here is my problem:

I need to access methods that are not exposed in android SDK, but that exists in source code. In this case it is some stuff in com.android.phone that I need to use.

How do I do this in eclipse? Do I need to modify the whole product, so to speak, making it impossible to use my application on any other android platform?

I just need any leads on how to procede, even though I know this whole post is kindof confused :)
