How to Share data across process's

Postby sjlearningandroid » Wed Oct 07, 2009 4:43 am

Hi All,

This is my first post and i m very new to this technology.
I was understanding the binder concept in android and i have one doubt to the oldies in android.

Is it possible to parcel pointers or structures across processes.
Or is there any way to share these pointers between different processes.
I want to share some data but not using content provides ar any database. But need some pointers
to pass from one process area to other.

I have come across a term "ashmem" but never used.

Can anybody help me out in more on this. And please let me know if i have any fundamental wrong approach.

Thanks n regards
Sam

I think it is not the right section.

However you can use sharedpreferences to store informations from your app.
