How to install packages as System Packages??

Postby niftysting » Thu Dec 03, 2009 7:32 am

Hi all,

I have a query and have been trying to find its solution... all in vain :(

For all system apps ApplicationInfo.FLAG_SYSTEM flag is set and this is how the distinction b/n user-apps and system apps is made in the code. I m unable to find where and who is setting this flag. This also depends on PARSE_IS_SYSTEM flag of the PackageParser. What i want to do is to be able to set this flag for some user-apps. Please suggest how to go about it!
Please Help!

Many Thanks!
