How to create several textviews hard-coded from for statemen

Postby travisjames » Thu Apr 09, 2009 9:35 am

I need to be able to do this in Android. I know this is how you would do it in Java, but not in Android.

All I need this to do is display the information in the main activity I have it placed in.

Do I need to create a certain View, such as ListView or something, for this?
I am new to the Android SDK.

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1. for (Status status : statuses) {
  2.
  3.         System.out.println(status.getUser().getName() + ":" +
  4.
  5.                            status.getText());
  6.
  7.     }
  8.
  9.
Parsed in 0.031 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

Any help?

Well, my real question is, how would you accomplish this with a textview. How would you create the several different textViews? Can someone show some example code of how to do this?
