How to create an Ad-Hoc WiFi network?

Postby Jayasanka » Thu Feb 26, 2009 4:52 pm

I have following problem,

Is there a way to create a Ad-hoc network in Android?
-- in the emulator, each instance works under a its own Router, so Emulator instance IPs do not visible to outer world. Therefore is there a way to make IP visible ad-hoc network without using those routers? can we edit Android source to do that??

See http://groups.google.com/group/android- ... a664b249b6

It's not supported currently but is supposed to be added.
