How can I test methods within services?

Postby mathuin » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:34 pm

I know how to test methods within activities. I can write JUnit test cases that exercise the methods and assert results and all that jazz. When I move a method from an activity to a service, I can no longer run tests against it.

I've looked at the LocalServiceTest.java on the Android developer site, but that's for testing the "servicey" part of the service, not the "business logicy" part which is what I want to test. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Jack.
