Hi friends,

Please give me idea how can I hide specific application Icon Programaticaly.

Using "PacakageManager" I got list of application install on my emulator,
Now I want to hide specific one.

How can I do this.

remove <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
from the activity tag in the android manifest

Seems the requirement not clear.What do you mean by hiding the icon and Why you want the icon to hide?

The icon in the app list I presume. If it's for a service or some other hidden process that never needs a GUI then no need for an icon. Then again, hopefully it's not for malicious purposes...

Scene like I want to hide any application from my Dad.So for this purpose I want to hide it.
Is it possible to disable application Icon.
