Handler for sensor data dump

Postby davelis828 » Sun Apr 03, 2011 2:20 am

Hello. This is my first post here, asking about my first android application, so yes, i m a newb! :P
I am writing an application to record data from the Accelerometer (with buttons that start and stop). What i believe has to be done is to create a Handler that handles a thread with a sleep() period which writes the data to a file(or stringbuffer, dont know which is better yet), and global conditional variables while indicate if the "pause" button has been pressed before executing the record.
The data has to be passed to the thread by global variables set to the values of the sensor event, and they will autoupdate on each event.

Am i right with this? Have you got any tips to add? :D
