i want restart service every 5 seconds..what wil be use for changing time..plz give me suggestion....

Why restart it and not use a thread/loop with a Thread.sleep(5000); ?

Actually i want to generate call-log every 5 sec and that is happening in service class , so i need to restart service class every 5 seconds..

u have used the service class so i think you able give me answer of my problem.my problem is like that i have to run my service when emulator or phone restart.it will automatically started when phone restart.then what i have to do?can u give me suggestion or sample code.thnks a lot for help.
