Getting superuser permissions

Postby insperatum » Sat May 16, 2009 10:02 am

Hey, I'm really new to coding for android (started pretty much yesterday) but I'm working my way around. At the moment i've got a simple file listing app. [dir.list();]

Question is, how do I get superuser permissions working so I can list protected directories such as /data? I've hardly found any documentation on it, and I've tried adding the permission android.permission.ACCESS_SUPERUSER to the manifest but I'm not succeeding.

Cheers,
Luke
