Getting internet settings.

Postby amuyeed » Tue Apr 01, 2008 7:27 am

Hi,
I have a requirement in my application for displaying the internet(GPRS) settings, through which the user is allowed to edit the settings.

Is there any way where I can get the current settings and display them and allow the user to change it and save it to the device?

Also is there a way for video and audio recording using th emulator?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,
According to documentation, emulator does not support video and audio recording.
# No support for camera/video capture (input).
# No support for audio input (capture). Output (playback) is supported.

Kiran

Hi,

you can still write your code for when the phones release:

The Android platform can also record media, again both audio and video. This is achieved through the android.media.MediaRecorder class. While the emulator obviously doesn't have hardware to capture and record audio and video, the eventual devices will have these capabilities, and the APIs are there already to develop against.
