Emulator start up error

Guys,

Whenever i start the emulator it is showing failed to initialize monitor and that connection to adb was reset. After that it just shows conectiong to adb attempt---, im not able to come out of this for 3 days.

Ive tried re installing everything still no use...

please help me out

I just keep getting this "[2009-03-07 13:32:23 - ddms]Failed to initialize Monitor Thread: Unable to establish loopback connection", guys help me out, i get this whenevr my eclipse starts up...

[2009-03-07 13:38:00 - DeviceMonitor]Connection attempts: 12, it just goes on like this after that, i tried re installing eclipse, android sdk, JRE restarted my system several time, but nothing has helped, tried out eclipse 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 also..

I'm not sure if it is the same issue you have, but I had a problem that prevent Eclipse to connect and debug on the emulator.
My symptom was like that :
[2009-03-04 20:00:39 - ddms]Can't bind to local 8600 for debugger

I finally found that it was a windows issue :
the win/system32/driver/etc/hosts file had the loopback line removed.
You should see a :
'127.0.0.1 localhost'
line in this file.

It's not the messages you got, but it looks like it's also a loopback issue, so...

And I don't understand how this line could have been removed !
I just hope it is not a virus !
