I am trying out some tutorials and example code...

I keep getting an error,
The public type TableLayout10 must be defined in its own file

I'm trying this example code..
http://code.google.com/android/samples/ ... out10.html

What does that error mean?

I use the the android plug in, in Eclipse

Hello

probably the file name your code is in is not exactly the same the class within is called.
So if he public class is called "TableLayout10" your filename has to be: "TableLayout10.java".

Hope I could help you. :)
