Create generic Component

Postby Steph » Wed Jun 02, 2010 12:43 pm

Hi everyone,

I think about applications and all of them use xml file. Is there a possibility to create once a generic component to do that? I think it's possible but i don't know why? Android Project? Project? Java Project? Or just put my source in a specific package and copy/paste in the different apps?

Thanks,

Stephane.

I don't understand your question..

One generic component to do what exactly? the .xml files are there as a convenience, you can do the same work programmatically, but its a b*stard.

What exactly do you want to do?

I want to make a sort of service or Framework. I'dl like to programm once the functionnality of saving data in SD card and re-use it in all my application.
That looks like DLL in C#. That supply function when we include it to the application.
I don't know how to be more specific, Sorry. I just don't want to do the same job for each apps.
I hope you will understand.

Thanks to answer me,

Stéphane

So, to do that, i use different packages that i copy and paste in my different project. I think there is a better solution but i don't know how to do.

If i found a better way, i'll tell you.

Thanks.

You can create libraries of JAR files just like any other Java project..
Posting questions without code is like going to the doctor and saying "it hurts, fix it."
