Create directories in the file system

Postby dok972 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 7:50 pm

Hello,

I'm a beginner and English isn't my native language.

I try to create directories using this code :
Code: Select all

new File("/mydir").mkdir();

It's work's only if I create a directory in the /tmp folder like this :
Code: Select all
new File("/tmp/mydir").mkdir();

But the /tmp folder is regularly deleted

I just want to create one directory somewhere except /tmp (/data for example) to put some files coming from an ftp server.

It's really important for me.

Thanks.
