How to converting Lumix DMC-FZ200 video to Apple PorRes for Final Cut Pro X?

It is really a headache after I recorded many video files of my kids with Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 in a 1080 60p video in AVCHD but my Final Cut Pro X does not load this. Due to the high quality of 1080p, I had to take many clips, so they are all separate. How should I do?How to convert AVCHD MTS/M2TS to FCP X? Those videos will be edited and will be as the gift for the good memory with my little kids.
