Hi AndDevs..

I'm currently working on my first Android Application.
I'm facing the following Problem.

Thx to this Forum, i learned how to perform a http request.
I recive ISO-8859-1 encoded data and wonder how to transform this to UTF-8.

I googled about Java UTF-8 Encoding and found soulutions that looked like this:
Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1. str.getBytes("UTF-8");
  2.
  3. str = new String("UTF-8");
Parsed in 0.011 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

this doesn't work for me

Does anyone have an Idea

THX
