Android font problem

Postby helloandroid » Thu Mar 13, 2008 7:25 am

Hi,

I want to display some chinese characters,
the default font used by android is DroidSans which is already support CJK( Chinese, Japanese, Korean) character set.

There are 4 characters (一, 丨, 丿, 乛) which are all in CJK set
with unicode(hex) (0x4E00, 0x4E28, 0x4E3F, 0x4E5B) respectively.
This is in java code,

(char)0x4E00 is equals ' 一'

When displaying in android emulator,
the first 3 characters can be displayed, but the last one is unable to display (just shows a '口' )

Can anyone one know the reason and how to slove it?

Many thanks
