AlertDialog timeout

Postby cchladny » Fri Jun 04, 2010 7:13 pm

Hello all,

I've got a clock app that needs to display alert dialogs every so often, but I need a way to auto-close them as sort of a failsafe and such. I understand postdelay and things like that, but what I'm having trouble with is the .cancel() function. If I'm out of the alertDialog's section, it can't find the dialog. Is there a way to make the dialog public, or re-find it at a later time? I'm kind of lost on this one, so ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks!
