After RotateAnimation, Buttons Stop Responding to Clicks

Postby jhoffman » Thu Jul 30, 2009 7:49 pm

Hello, and thanks for taking a look at my post!

I'm working on an app which requires me to flip a textview and some buttons upside-down using the RotateAnimation. I actually figured out how to do that, but now my buttons don't respond to clicks, and my textview doesn't respond to Long Clicks. I suspect I may have to update the positions to Android or something in order to have it capture clicks again from the correct location. Am I on the right track with that idea? Or am I missing something else that would help solve this problem? Any tips would be appreciated! Thank you very much for your time :)

My animation code is as follows (I hope this helps anyone who read my thread looking for animation help!):
RotateAnimation myAnim = new RotateAnimation(0.0f, 180.0f, Animation.RELATIVE_TO_SELF, 0.5f, Animation.RELATIVE_TO_SELF, 0.5f);
myAnim.setFillAfter(true);
RelativeLayout myLayout = (RelativeLayout) findViewById(R.id.Player2Layout);
myLayout.setAnimation(myAnim);
