Adding Bookmark to homepage?

Postby svguerin3 » Mon May 03, 2010 11:09 pm

Hi all - Just a simple/dumb question before I start diving into code, etc.. Is it possible and at least fairly-straightforward, with Android 2.1 or later, to be able to add shortcuts to the home page to URLs? I've done a bit of research, and I've seen the AnyCut and BetterCut applications that currently do it. We basically want to have the ability to do this from an app that points to the web, and to have buttons that "mock" the functionality of how the iPhone does it from its browser.

Any words of advice on where to look on this type of thing would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!
