So what are the CaffeineMark results for the G1?

Do we have any other phones to compare it to?

I would like to see the results compared to the emulator on my machine.

1 million phones will probably be out by January and not one owner ran CaffeineMark and published the results.

All I have is my laptop currently. I will get a G1 as soon as I can afford it.

My laptop scores 281... So I guess the real G1 is pretty fast if that is where you ran the test.

Overall score = 391

The first time I ran it the overall score was 237 (probably some background service working.) But now it is always a bit below 400.

I would guess that you still have something small in the background running since his score is considerably higher.

Hmm.. I would expect a few percent deviation, but not 10 or more for the same device.

I should have a way of telling users that they are not running the device under optimal conditions for my applications. In fact that could be a good application onto itself using intents.

What is Caffienemark and what it will do? I have never heard this term before with Android. I have read all your discussions, still I am not clear about it. Is it any application on Android? Appreciate if anyone can clarify. . Review OmniTech Support
