To convert MXF/P2 MXF to FCP on Mac, Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac is a good choice. It could easily convert MXF/P2 MXF to FCP native format Apple ProRes 422 for importing into FCP without problem.

Panasonic P2 MXF to FCP Importing and Editing Issues

Panasonic P2 MXF question is an old topic and there are a lot of FAQs about it. However, we may still have problems with P2 MXF format, for example, to edit P2 MXF in Final Cut Pro. I have failed to import my HVX 200 MXF footage into FCP X, my iMac gave me a missing plug-in warning. I have Googled the question but finally failed. What is the best way to make P2 MXF acceptable for FCP X?
